I have fallen a little behind on my EC Comics covers and I wanted to add this cover to the collection. The Haunt of Fear was no where near as popular as Tales from the Crypt or the Vault of Horror and this is silly as all the titles were created by the same people! Haunt did have some awesome covers though as evidenced by this creepy one which must have been chilling for the 1950s. As I mentioned before, it was the ability to craft creepy, cool, and visceral covers that helped EC destroy its competitors in the marketplace.  This garish cover featuring a grave robber most definitely was an attention grabber at a time when Batman was really slipping into lameness.....
