Let me be honest, the Incredible Hulk Rage Cage was a pretty lame toy. All it consisted of was a rubber Hulk with a bicycle pump slot. You tied him up with “chains” and placed him in a cage. You pumped him up with air and when he got all puffy and bloated he broke the chains and smashed the cage. It was cool the first two or three times. After that, it got pretty dull. And guess what? I still dug The Incredible Hulk Rage Cage. I may have actually been one of maybe six kids who owned this flop of a toy, but it was still cool to me. And, yes, it is still cool to me today after all these years. I would say that things were simpler back then but when I go to toy shops these days I still see silly toys of this nature on the shelves. There are lots of retro toys for sale in stores these days? You think someone might re-release The Incredible Hulk Rage Cage? Nah.




UPDATE: There WERE re-releases of the Rage Cage in 1991 and 2003. Nobody bought them this time around either.
