Ah, in case you were wondering if there was a worse animated theme song than the one for the Incredible Hulk 1966 intro? Yeah. it would have to be the Iron Man theme. Mainly, this was a really dopey and dull theme song. Ah, maybe I am being a grouch. The old 1960's Marvel superheroes series was certainly a good one and it opened a lot of kids eyes to some revolutionary new comic heroes. So, I shouldn't really knock the. Instead, we should celebrate them and give them a pass for their cheesiness!

Now, we can jump ahead thirty years and look the intro to the 1996 Iron Man cartoon. Just as the 1960s cartoon was cheesy in its innocence, this particular open showed the edginess that was commonplace in the rebellious 1990s. It seems a little dark but it is effective as far as stressing the seriousness of the cartoon. ----
