It has been a while since I wrote a little bit about one of my favorite covers so I thought I would display the cool cover of Amazing Spiderman 60. Now, this is not a cover that will ever win any awards for high art. It truly is a "what you see is what you get cover". if you want to see Spiderman in serious action against the Kingpin this is it...

What is fun about this cover is the fact that it shows Spidey in obvious danger of being splattered against the wall. Teh accompanying tag line "O, Bitter Victory" essentially tells you that for whatever good Spiderman did in this particular issue, he is going to pay for it in the form of getting splattered against that aforementioned wall. Geez, what did he do to get himself into such a precarious position? I guess you would have to buy the book to find out.

Yup, they really knew how to make a cover back in the day......
