While the classic Spiderman cartoon was a favortite of folks when they were kids, OZ remained a favorite among many adults back in the late 1990's and early 2000's. The HBO series was critically acclaimed and had a following. But, when you really watch it and reflect on it, Oz was HBO's version of Plan 9 From Outer Space. It really was an idiotic show on many levels masquarding as art. There were a ton of dopey art films in the 1970's that were acclaimed in their day and are considered dumb as dirt by modern standards. Oz will eventually get the same treatment as history will not be kind to its outrageous over the top violence that eventually developed into self-parody. Anyway, some folks who grew up on Spiderman and later became fans of Oz decided to put the two programs together.... ==================================================================================
