Werewolf By Night - Curse of the Werewolf Part II

Oh boy, did I make a goof or what. I posted part one of this book and record tale and spent all my time taking about the ending. I guess since I am adding the ending, it would be best for me to talk about the beginning right? Maybe.....

Anyway.....

The beginning of this book and record is thoroughly creepy and sets the tone. RIght off the bat, we see a police officer come across a werewolf holding a corpse as a voiceover drones "The man I attacked was dead....." This is a brilliant beginning because it sets up the character as a reluctant tragic hero. This is critical because unless we cared about the person who becomes the werewolf then the whole Werewolf by Night series would be little more than hack work. Remember the awful WBN rip-off in Eerie Magazine? That one didn't go very far, did it?

From the outset, we are introduced to a confused and stunned Jack Russell who slowly comes to the realization he is a werewolf. We are then intrigued to learn more about this character as his narrative unfolds in the story....
