Have you ever seen an image of a 91 year old drummer? If you haven’t, you could always view the following (cool) YouTube clip presented herein. Hey, it should not be surprising that an older woman has the ability to “rock out” on his drum set. The legendary Buddy Rich truly had some amazing talent on the drums well into his twilight years. Then again, Buddy Rich was not known for really getting down like the lady in this very fun YouTube video. Jeri is a lot of fun to watch in the video. She obviously enjoys what she is doing and she certainly has skills on the drums. Really, when you listen to the way she plays you can see she has practiced for most of her life. The skill and talent she displays on her drums is definitely of high quality. That is what makes watching and listening to this Allee Willis video presentation a lot of fun. (Consider that a recommendation to check out the video!) Jeri’s ability to still rock out at 91 is quite impressive. Actually, it is more than just impressive. It is an inspiration.
