Yes, The Hulk and Thor have tangled many times in Marvel Comics. It was always cool to see superpoweful heroes clobber each other. It had a much different dynamic than seeing them battle super villians. Generally, the way these tales would work was the two heroes would get into a misunderstanding and clobber each other. Eventually, they would discover the error of their ways and end up teaming against the mean old supervillian who was the true problem child of the story.

While is is doubtful that the upcoming Hulk vs Thor will be so simplistic, it is NOT doubtful that this will be a great story. The trailer looks excellent and it is great to see animated works that capture the true spirit of the comics.

BTW - Does anyone remember when the Hulk and Thor met in the TV series reunion movie? Oh, come on...it wasn't THAT bad...
