It has been a while since I posted a new entry in my favorite covers collection. Well, I have a cover to a classic Captain America comic, but I do not know the issue number. This is because the cover is the reproduction of the Captain America Power Records Comic from the 1970s. It is fitting since I never owned the actual Cap comic as I had this cool book and record in the early 80’s. The story featured in here was weirdly downbeat material since it dealt with themes of guilt and death. However, the cover is awesome. He was a vat of acid, a chained up Captain America, and a super villain with a laser gun. Awesome stuff and definitely the type of cover that made the book a “must have” for little kids.
