No, Jigsaw isn't a famous comic book character - although he did have a few comic books released feautring him. Jigsaw is, of course, one of the cooler horror stars in recent times. Sure, the films have been uneven, but when they were good they were engaging and frightening.

It should come as no surprise that there are Jigsaw costumes out there. They have been fairly popular sellers these past few Halloweens and they probably will be for many more years to come. Who knows? Jigsaw may end up side by side with Frankenstein as a character and costume that is still remembered decades after the films were first made.
