I have invested a bit of time on this blog discussing how much I dig the new Daredevil storyline with Lady Bullseye and the Hand. One reason is that Lady Bullseye is a derivative character of Bullseye. In the past, we have seen a number of Green Goblins and some of them have been pretty awful. (Does anyone remember the nefariously bad Barton Hamilton Green Goblin?)

Of course, Lady Bullseye has proven to be an excellent character because she comes off as far more intelligent than Bullseye. Personally, I find it hard to believe Bullseye would even be employed as a villainous assassin. He does not actually have the greatest win record and his eratic insane behavior doesn't exactly make him reliable. But, he's been around forever and he still sells books so he will forever remain a major character in Daredevil books.

Lady Bullseye seems to have more credibility than Bullseye in terms of someone who has a sense of credibility as an assassin. That is why using her as a focal point makes sense since it is believable that she can do a lot of harm to Daredevil while coming out the winner in the clash.

So, here's a picture of this cool new character. Consider it a minor homage.
