Wolverine Noir
Wolverine Noir
I mentioned Wolverine Noir in my previous post about the Marvel Noir line of books. I wanted to give this particular title a little extra mention. The reason is that Wolverine Noir is one of the more engaging books I have read in a while because it is such a significant departure from many of the other XMEN books I have read. No, that is not a knock on the XMEN. It is simply an assessment of the difference between this particular Wolverine book and some of the other titles out there. Really, this particular book is closer to the early private eye movies of the 1940’s. Yes, that is the while idea promoted in the Noir books, but this one is a lot closer to the potboilers of yesteryear. As such, it remains a very much recommended title to check out. So, please check it out!
